"D" Day

So today is/was the elusive Due Date. With 1.5 hours left of this day, I think its safe to say it came and went with not a sign of the Little Bean. It is painfully clear she is NOT ready to face the world. Can't say I blame her.

We had a storm move in this weekend that we thought for sure would stir things up. Nope, not a peep. Next up, full moon this week. Lots of babies are born on a full moon, surely that would get her squirming? Nope, apparantly not. In fact, just the opposite. Last night, we spent two anxious hours between 2-4am trying to get her to move since she hadn't moved much all day.

No, I think this girl is hanging on for dear life.
Our weekly check-up confirmed that there isn't much progress. If there is no progress by next week, Doc wants to induce on March 19. Sorry, my lovely little Bean. It is time we finally meet.

The plan between now and then? Walk, walk, walk...

Hey Alli old wives tale when they are quite like she was means they are getting ready for the trip. You can file this with my other useless theories!

I agree with Bonnie!

Remember I said that your body is tired cuz it's saving all the energy for a safe and successful natural birth? Well that plays right along with what Bonnie said - Lima is saving up her energy also, so that the labor and birth will be a breeze!

Well? Why not hope for the best?!?!?!

Loving you! Ninny

I think little Lima Bean was waiting until John could join us. John is thrilled he will be here when she pokes her head out for the first time. It all worked out for the best, in my opinion anyway.
