Our friends, Jennipher and Ryan came over with their puppy, Siena. We had a great time hanging out with them, grilling kabobs and drinking margs. John's marg recipe is always a hit! We were hoping that Siena and Cookie would become fast friends and wear each other out with play. But Cookie is still on the mend and wasn't 100%. I have never seen her not in the mood to play before, but her foot is still pretty painful.
After a late lunch we pulled out the agility equipment and gave Siena her first lesson in agility. She did great! The neighbor dogs came over and wanted a part of it too :)
Here are some pics:
Pretty baby Siena!
Cheyenne shows off her skills :)
Siena catches on quickly!
Buddy the neighbor dog wants in on the action too!
Look how good Siena is! I think we have a champion in the making!
Even Linus is enjoying himself! :)
Cookie is slowly getting better. The wound is healing, but slowly. She has been quarantined to the back yard and not too happy about it. Another couple of days and she can go out and play with her friends. Poor girl.Sunday was a nice relaxing day too. We skipped church, again, and enjoyed the weather. Gabe helped Chris put together their new play gym while I stayed home and enjoyed the sunshine, birds chirping and cleaned house. I love a clean house! Now that is therapy!

We have to do this again soon! :)
John,
I haven't quite figured out this blog yet, but from what I can see it doesn't look like you can post pics here. But you and mom can start your own blog! Its free and easy! haha :)
Hey Allison,
I was excited to hear that your mom contacted my mom. Your home is beautiful! Congratulations on your marriage and all of your success.
Birch and I are still in Denver. We have two golden retrievers that we rescued. By the way, I don't think they could retrieve anything if they tried! No children, which is more disappointing to the parents than us. We've both decided to return to school. Birch is working on his PhD in education and I'm working on my second masters in counseling psychology.
I'm glad to see your doing great! It's wonderful to hear how everyone is doing.
Take care,
Jennifer
Hi Alli-
I guess no pictures from here then. I think a blog of our own isn't in the cards. We survived the weekend and quick trip to Bahrain to have breakfst with Terri & Ken and hit the Al-Osra market. We left Dhahran ant 0800 and got back at 1230 so the causeway was not crowded.
I spent the last day of our 3 day weekend trying to get our 3 computers networked and talking with the printer. Since the new laptop is VISTA and the othe 2 are XP it is quite a challenge. I spent a lot of time searching for posts with answers.
We got a full day and night of showers over Wed / Thurs what a surprise for this time of the year.
We had our usual get togehters with friends. Cindy threw a dinner on Thurday and we went to Jim & Norah's for brunch on Saturday. Of course we played Wii on Thursday. We all did the fitness test and I scored 27 years old. I called Phil and bragged so he is probably practicing:-).
231 Days
John
