Yes, finally! Its the end of April and we finally had a decent weekend that allowed us to springify the house. The entire weekend was gorgeous. 70's, sunny, and dry. That kind of weather makes us both feel energetic which meant a pretty productive weekend for us. Saturday, I spent all day cleaning and trimming and weeding. Sunday was the payoff. After church we went and spent a fortune on flowers. As energetic as I was Saturday, I was lazy on Sunday and just bought potted plants that I set into my baskets and pots. haha.Here are few pics:
The bradford pear trees were slow to bloom this year. They still have a little ways to go but they are coming along

Here is a teaser for future blogs. Gabe is trying his hand at gardening this year. From seed. Here are the newly planted seeds. We will see if they take hold and sprout! Stay tuned...
Its dinner time now and I promised Gabe lasagna and chocolate chip cookies. Better get going!

I love spring cleaning and working in the yard! The flowers and house (and dogs, of course) look GREAT! I actually spent a couple hours yesterday potting (how I spent my Earth Day). I'll get pics of that up on my blog soon. :)

John here, another weekend is dead and we are still kickin'.
The dust was really bad on Thursday but we went to Khobar in the morning with Jim and Norah. I don't go on my own very often cause the traffic is so disorganized, etc. Cindy looked at plain white dishes and we bought ANOTHE piece of furniture for behind a free standing couch. Cindy is planning for the TH in Houston I think. I don't see my comment from last week I wonder if it attached okay, please let me know. If not I will start copying and sending them by e-mail also.
Happy hour on Wed after work and a brunch on Fri morning is our claim to fame this week.
Condy leaves on 5/18 boo hoo. I don't look forward to 3 months batching it. I guess it will prepare me for contract work next year.
I made a stand for my new laptop so I can sit at the couch and play computer without that weight on my legs. I think it may have been irritating the knee, you remember the knee right? I have been concentrating on it when on the universal machine. Still feel it but it doesn't bother me much, knock knock.
Guess I better work a little.
