Wild Weather

Growing up in Colorado, I learned to LOVE severe weather. I loved summer afternoons watching a big thunderstorm move through. Looking at the clouds to see the changes. Now that I am in Missouri, my idea of severe weather is completely changed. I was never nervous about storms, but here, they are a whole other animal.

The big difference is the storms come through at night. So they are much scarier.

Last night, we had a crazy thunderstorm move through. We even had to go to the basement for a few minutes during a brief tornado warning. Unfortunately, it was 11:00pm, so it made for little sleep last night.

The storm carried one heck of a lightening show. Before we headed to the basement, I captured some cool video. Check it out....

Don't you mean "a whole nother"?

Just kidding, I'm soooooo glad everything is ok. How did the little girl handle it?

All the animals were with you?

I miss all the fun!

WOOOO - Mother nature sure put on a spectacular show. Scary but amazing. Hopefully your drive to CO will be uneventful. I can hardly wait to see you all.
