A Capitol Weekend

Saturday, we decided to take a trip to Jefferson City to see the state capitol. Gabe and I are big history buffs so we get excited about this kind of thing. Missouri has some great and interesting history. This was also a trial run for how well Mia would do on the long drive to Denver. I must say we did quite well on the 2.5 hour drive.

Jefferson City is a really neat town. Reminds me a bit of a college town. We had lunch with some friends at a great pizza joint across the street from the capitol building. Because of Mia's feeding schedule, we didn't get to see much other than the capitol building. But we were able to squeeze in a tour of the place while she slept. Way cool!
